How is AdBlue Different from Diesel?

< 1 min read

AdBlue differs from diesel in several ways:

  • Composition: AdBlue is a urea solution and not a fuel. It works alongside diesel but is not combusted in the engine.
  • Function: While diesel powers the vehicle, AdBlue is injected into the exhaust system to reduce NOx emissions.
  • Storage: AdBlue requires a separate tank in the vehicle and cannot be mixed with diesel.

AdBlue plays a complementary role in ensuring diesel engines meet environmental regulations without compromising performance.
